So I’m playing catchup with a couple of family sessions!
In June I had the pleasure to spend some time with Matt, Molly and their precious baby boy, Jude. We had a lot of fun and that little boy is a total ham! Here are a couple from the shoot. The full collection can be found here.
Yes, it’s been a while since I last posted. It’s been a very busy year and I’m ready to get back to what I love. 🙂
My fiancée and I went to Cincinnati, OH for the Fourth of July weekend and rented a multi-story condo in Mt. Adams. I had never been to Mt. Adams, or even heard of it (I don’t hail from these parts), but I completely fell in love with that little city on the (rather large, mountain-esque) hill. And, although I’ve never been to Europe, either, it had a very European feel about it. My fiancée has been to Europe and confirmed that it definitely felt European. In fact, she compared it to Montmarte.
At any rate, it had great views of the city and the Ohio river and bridges, as well the Fourth of July fireworks display after the Cincinnati Red’s game. We were on the third floor balcony, and weren’t as fortunate to have a rooftop to relax on, but even so, we had a great view of the fireworks display from the comfort of our home away from home.
It has literally been years since I kept a blog. And back when I did blog, I wasn’t a photographer. Sure, over the years, I’ve thought about blogging about things that I photograph, but I never did. And, as time went on, I just figured that I had missed the boat and what would the point be, anyway?
Now, after many years, I have finally decided to (re)start blogging; however, this blog will focus around my photography, and the stories that go with the photos that I take.
I love photography. All kinds of photography, and I haven’t been able to limit myself to a particular genre of the craft because I enjoy it all so very much. Thusly, you may see photos from some of my client’s shoots, or street photography, or nature photography, or me just generally being creative. Because that’s how I roll.
At any rate, I hope you enjoy the blog and my journey. If you would like to make a comment, please act like an adult.
And because I am late to the party, my first few posts may seem a bit gratuitous. I would apologize…except this is my blog. =]
